Commission for Victims and Survivors (Northern Ireland)
The Commission was established by the Victims and Survivors (Northern Ireland) Order 2006. It is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the then Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister.
Commissioner for Public Appointments Northern Ireland
The Commissioner is the guardian of the processes used by Northern Ireland Executive Ministers to make public appointments on merit.
Community Relations Council
The Community Relations Council was formed in January 1990 as an independent company and registered charity. It originated in 1986 as a proposal of a research report commissioned by the Northern Ireland Standing Advisory Committee on Human Rights. The Council was set up to promote bette relations between Protestants and Catholics in NI and equally to promote recognition of cultural diversity.
Equality Commission for Northern Ireland
The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland is a non departmental public body established by the Northern Ireland Act 1998. Powers and duties of the Commission derive from a number of statutes which have been enacted over the last decades, providing protection against discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, race, religion and political opinion, sex and sexual orientation. The Commission also has responsibilities arising from the Northern Ireland Act 1998 in respect of the statutory equality and good relations duties which apply to public authorities. The Commisssion's sponsor is The Executive office which carries responsibilities for equality policy and legislation in the Northern Ireland Executive.

The Ilex Urban Regeneration Company ceased trading in March 2016
Maze Long Kesh Development Corporation
The Maze Long Kesh Development Corporation Board was established on the 10th September 2012. The Corporation is an executive non-departmental public body and its main objective is to secure the regeneration of the Maze/Long Kesh site.
Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission
The Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission was established in June 2005. They are an independent public body established to bring about a new system for appointing members of the judiciary in Northern Ireland.
Northern Ireland Ombudsman (Northern Ireland Commissioner for Complaints)
The Northern Ireland Ombudsman deals with complaints from people who believe they have suffered injustice as a result of poor administration or the wrong applications of rules by government departments and public bodies.
Office of the Attorney General for Northern Ireland
The Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002 established the post of Attorney General for Northern Ireland. The Attorney General is the chief legal adviser to the Northern Ireland Executive for both civil and criminal matters that fall within the devolved powers of the Northern Ireland Assembly. The Attorney General is also the chief public prosecutor for Northern Ireland and is responsible for the Public Prosecution Service for Northern Ireland.
Strategic Investment Board
The Strategic Investment Board is a company limited by guarantee, whose sole shareholder is the Executive Office. Their work is directed by Ministers.
Victims and Survivors Service
The Victims and Survivors Service was established in April 2012 as an arm's length body of The Executive Office. It is responsible for administering Executive Office funding that is set aside specifically for victims and survivors.
